Announcement of the Fifth International Lecture
We are honored to announce that the fifth international lecture of the pre-con events of the international conference on Theology of Pilgrimage will be held online on October 29, 2023, from 14 to 15:15 GMT. At this session, we host Mr. Julio César Cárdenas Arenas, researcher in comparative religion- Ph. D candidate in the science of religions at Complutense University of Madrid. He has published numerous books on comparative theology and Islamic philosophy all in Spanish among which ar María, Jesús y sus discípulos, Teología entre la Biblia y el Corán (2019) and Avicena, medicina, filosofía y mística (2021)
His lecture will be delivered in Arabic and the English translation of the title is “Jurisprudential, Social and Theological Relations Between Jews, Christians and Muslims in Two Books of Ibn Taymiyyah: “Qāʿidah fī Ziyārah Bayt al-Maqdis” and “Iqtiḍa' as-Ṣirāt al-Mustaqīm”.
